How to get to Nafplio
Nafplio is located in the area of Argolis in eastern Peloponnese peninsula 167 kilometres away from Athens airport.
These are the transfer options to get to Nafplion:
By car rental or by taxi from the Athens Airport
The ride usually takes 2 hours at most and fares range from €180 to €200 depending on the company.
By public transportation
A journey via public transportation would require first to take the X93 bus from Athens airport (the bus stop is located between Exit 4 and 5 at the arrivals building level) to Kifisos KTEL bus station (the ride costs 6 euros per way and tickets can be purchased from the ticket kiosk at the airport or directly from the bus driver) and then get a connection to Nafplio. Return ticket price cost 23 euros. This option of transfer would take 3 hours for the whole journey.
Conference bus transfer from the Athens Airport
The AVA Spring Meeting 2022 will provide bus transfer for the delegates of the Conference from the Athens airport to Nafplion on the following days:
- May 17th, 2022 at 17.00
- May 18th, 2022 at 17.00
Buses will depart from the parking area just outside Exit 5 at the arrivals building level of Athens airport.
